Mother's Day Flowers

MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS
It's Mother's Day in the UK on Sunday so that means frantically looking for the best gift to spoil your mums on their special day. A safe option is always a beautiful constructed bouquet of flowers. I've seen so many stunning bouquets on social media at the moment and this Blossoming Gift's one is no exception. I chose the 'Blueberry Pancakes'* bouquet as I loved the contrasting Purple, and Green hues among the Cream roses. Blossoming Gifts have an amazing assortment of choices and I love the dainty look of these flowers together.
These arrived in a sturdy box and came beautifully encased in a white wrapping so are perfect if you want to order a few days before the day and keep hidden until you want to give them away. You can't really go wrong with these, especially if you aren't sure what to get! Bouquet prices can also get really extortionate but these are super affordable and look just as aesthetically pleasing!

Triangl Bikini Review

TRIANGL BIKINI
At the end of last year, I was contacted by the lovely Triangl to see if I'd like to be gifted one of their bikinis. I literally jumped at the chance for this; This time last year I couldn't stop browsing the Triangl Instagram account wondering why I wasn't an Australian girl living life in the sun wearing a Triangl Bikini*.
I decided to go with one of the traditional Triangl styles, even though they have expanded and have loads of new styles. This particular bikini is called, 'Poppy Melon Rose' and I have had my eyes on this for the last year or so. As you're probably bored of hearing, I love hints of metallic and the Rose Gold accents are what drew me to this. I also think this would complement a golden tan so well.
Obviously, Triangl bikinis are on the pricey side, but I can see why. The neoprene material of these bikinis means they are really thick, sturdy and mold to your body perfectly. The quality is amazing, so if you're willing to spend quite a bit for a bikini that will last you a very long while I'd definitely go for a Triangl one.
The only struggle, is the fact that these aren't stocked anywhere in the UK so picking the right size can be risky. However, the Triangl website has a live 24 chat where you can discuss how to find the right size for you in the bikini you like. This was SO helpful! Why don't other brands have this? I spoke with one of the lovely girls who advised me what size to get and when it arrived it fitted me perfectly - I could not be more relieved!
Now can summer please make an appearance so I can get to where this?

Blue Stripe

BLUE STRIPE OOTD BLUE STRIPE OOTD BLUE STRIPE OOTD BLUE STRIPE OOTD BLUE STRIPE OOTD BLUE STRIPE OOTD
Coat: Zara | Shirt: Zara | Bag: Urban Outfitters | Trainers: Adidas via ASOS | Jeans: ASOS

Anyone who knows me knows I am a pretty girly girl and you would have never caught me wearing trainers a few years ago. Oh how times have changed. I bought my first pair of trainers in years from Zara a couple of summers ago and that was it, I have become obsessed! I am not a sporty person, nor do I try to be but I love mixing the sporty element of trainers with a more tailored, structured outfit. I love the way these metallic Adidas Originals trainers look with this Zara coat and shirt. The metallic stripes are what drew me to these, I can't help but be drawn to anything metallic! Unintentionally, this outfit seems to be Zara heavy, but I have to say everything in Zara at the moment is amazing. I had to stop myself from buying everything.
Paired finally with my ASOS ripped mom jeans, you can't really go wrong with this look. It's super easy to wear and more importantly - comfortable! What do you think of the sports-luxe trend?

Valentine's Day Gift Guide

VALENTINES DAY GIFT GUIDE VALENTINES DAY GIFT GUIDE
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I thought I'd put a small gift guide together for those who are struggling with ideas to hint to their loved ones. Or if you just need some inspiration for presents coming up, here are my favourites.
It's always nice to receive a perfume, especially if it's as aesthetically beautiful as the Salvatore Ferragamo 'Signorina Misteriosa' Fragrance* exclusive to Debenhams. This scent reminds me of the YSL 'Black Opium' which is one of my favourite scents ever. I love the bottle of this fragrance and it has a sultry scent with it's Wild Blackberry and Black Vanilla notes.
How pretty is this Ted Baker Bra*? I love the attention to detail of this with the lace, silky material and cutest little hanger. Plus you can't go wrong with Red on Valentine's Day. Debenhams also have some amazing lingerie by Ted Baker, Janet Reger and which is worth a nosy at! Or take a look at their other gift ideas for her if lingerie isn't your thing!
If you're going on a date and want to play up to the whole Valentine's Day theme, this Anastasia Beverley Hills Liquid Lipstick in 'Carina' is perfect. It paints on like a lipstick, dries matte and stays put. You won't have to worry about reapplication and it is the most flattering shade of a Pink toned Red.
With a bright lip, I'd opt to kept everything else neutral, so nude nails are obligatory. One of my favourite options for a nude mani is Leighton Denny 'Supermodel'. It just gives my nails a polished look and the nude is just dark enough to not clash with my skin tone.
If beauty or fashion options aren't what you're looking for, my next choice would be a beautifully smelling candle. Diptyque Candles aren't the cheapest of the bunch but they look pretty and burn with the most addictive aroma which fills the whole house. I'd definitely pick the Ambre scent for this time of year.

Marble Phone Case

Marble Phone Case
You must be living under a rock if you haven't noticed how the whole 'marble hype' seems to have taken over the blogger-sphere. Whether it be, interiors, home accessories and even stationery it is everywhere you look. I can't help but love the whole clean, minimalist look of marble and this phone case provides the perfect finish touch to my outfits.
I am very fussy when it comes to phone cases, I like them to be simplistic and pretty yet of good quality to at least keep my phone protected! Anyone else purchased phone cases in the past from eBay that have been cheap for a reason?!
This particular Marble Phone Case from Coconut Lane is my new accessory love. It looks sleek yet is sturdy enough to encase my phone and keep it safe when I unintentionally throw it about. I seriously love how it looks against really minimal looks that have a cool toned palette.
This phone case is a bargainous £13, but you can use the discount code katielovess20 at the checkout to receive 20% off any purchase on their website. What are you waiting for!?

January Detox: Health, Beauty & Skincare

JANUARY DETOX JANUARY DETOX
January is the month where the word 'detox' seems to crop up over and over again with everyone deciding that they spent too much time at Christmas indulging in endless supplies of chocolate.
I try to be healthy and have a balanced diet but I have let slip in the last few months. When it's cold and gloomy, who wants to be eating a salad?
I was a bit slow with starting the new year being a bit healthier and I'll never be the type to eat kale and quinoa everyday but there's no harm in trying to pick the healthier option where possible. Even though January has now (thankfully!) passed, I have been loving the Breville Blend-Active* to make quick smoothies and juices for breakfast and to take to work. I love this handy little machine and the fact that there is minimal washing-up is the best thing about it.
As well as being healthy from the inside, healthy skin is also a huge factor for me. I am skincare obsessed and never miss a day of doing my skincare routine. The new Trilogy CoQ10 Booster Oil* is charged up with a blend of superfood oils including, Chia, Strawberry and Blueberry to recharge and revitalize skin. I've recently started using this as my skin is very lacklustre and extremely dry due to the freezing cold weather. Adding this to my cleansed face before bed means I wake up with super soft skin that has more radiance.
Ever thought of detoxing your nails? Constantly painting and re-painting my nails mean it has taken it's toll on the health of my nails making them flakier than normal and rather discoloured. I have heard a lot about the Nails Inc Overnight Detox Mask* and was really intrigued by what it is... a mask for your nails! Infused with Green Tea and Acai Berry applied to your nails will help detoxify and hydrate the nail bed. I certainly don't have a routine for my nails, so adding this in will be sure to help the damage they already have.
Keep the superfood for your nails going with another nailcare addition. Who doesn't want healthy and strong nails? The Nails Inc Nail Grow Treatment is powered by Matcha which is concentrated green tea leaf powder. All you have to do is massage this into the nail bed twice a week to encourage growth.
