Current Favourites

CURRENT FAVOURITES AUGUST CURRENT FAVOURITES AUGUST
Don't you love when you're sifting through your endless amount of beauty products and make-up when you rediscover products that you've forgotten you loved or even had? I've been trying to do this more regularly so I switch up what I have and it's also a good way to use up older products.
The last month I rediscovered my love for the YSL Volupte Tint in Oil in, 'Cherry My Cherie'. This is one of my everyday lip choices as this is like no other lip product I own. It stains my lips with the loveliest hue of Cherry and also gives a gloss finish. However, because this is an oil I don't ever have that horrible sticky feeling wearing this which most lip glosses have. This is really low-maintenance to wear during the day which is why I tend to wear this to work.
For summer I have been addicted to cream blushers as they just blend seamlessly into the skin, giving a natural healthy glow which still looks dewy. This Real Techniques Stippling Brush is THE perfect brush for applying cream products.  Just dab your brush into the blush a few times then stipple along your cheekbones - it does all the blending for you! This Sephora Blush in, 'Rose Pop' isn't cream but I've neglected it since I've bought it, the bright Fuchsia Pink colour is perfect for brightening up a dull complexion.
Another favourite which I've rediscovered is the, Benefit Brow-Zings in, 'Deep'. I love this for defining my brows at the moment. I only use the wax side as the powder is way to much of a Red-Brown colour for my Black brow hairs but I really love how the wax colour matches my brows pretty well which also sets them in place for the day.
I will always recommend Dior for mascaras and the new and improved Dior Show Mascara is no exception. Love this! If you want volume as well as separation then this is your winner. Full size works out to be £24.50 but in my opinion it's so worth it. Dior know how to do mascaras.
Fragrance wise, my Escentric Molecules, 'Molecule 01' perfume has to be my favourite at the moment. This fragrance is like nothing else; It smells different on everyone so it's amazing and unique every time. I always get compliments when I wear this and I can smell it from a mile away when somebody else is wearing it!
Lastly, my new Ray-bans are my pride and joy at the moment. I was hesitant to spend so much on two pairs but I love both of these and I know they are an investment in my wardrobe.

Suede Co-Ord

SUEDE CO-ORD SUEDE CO-ORD SUEDE CO-ORD SUEDE CO-ORD Co-Ord Two Piece Set: Luxemme* | Kimono: Pull & Bear | Sandals: Primark | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

It was raining when I took these images so please excuse the wet, drowned rat hair look... #bloggerproblems.
It's no surprise that I love a Co-Ord Two Piece Set and this Luxemme set is no exception. I was recently contacted by the brand to showcase one of their limited edition pieces on my blog and I chose this outfit. I was drawn in by the lovely Autumnal shade of the suede and I feel I will be able to wear this a lot through the colder season too as a set or as individual pieces paired with other items from my wardrobe. This co-ord definitely has a 70's retro feel to it so I tried to play on this by pairing this look with my round frame sunnies.
As spoken about in my last post, these Ray-Ban's are the other pair I purchased as part of their promo deal. These suit this outfit perfectly with their warm Rose-Gold tinted finish. I love this look with a tan! The shorts were on the big side for me so I cinched them in with my favourite American Apparel belt and finished the look with a flowy summery kimono.

Off Shoulder

Top: Choies* | Skirt: Primark | Shoes: New Look | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

So I maaaay have made a rather spontaneous purchase of some Ray-Ban's I've been lusting over for a while! I purchased these beautie's along with the Rose Gold pair at Sunglasses Hut as they had a promotion on that you can buy any two Ray-Ban's for £200. Not a bad deal I think! I love these mirror reflective pair and they are silver so go with practically all my wardrobe and my daily jewellery.
This top from Choies* is also a recent addition to my summer wardrobe, I think the style and cut of this top is so cute and unique. I own nothing like this and it just has that boho element which I have been loving with all my summer looks at the moment.
The button down denim skirt also seems to be a favourite with everyone at the moment, with me included. This Primark version is only £10 and I can see me getting a lot of wear out of this even with Winter coming up. Add some layers and it can be perfectly transitioned!

Rodial Skin Tint +

RODIAL SKIN TINT + RODIAL SKIN TINT + RODIAL SKIN TINT + RODIAL SKIN TINT +
So it's no secret that I am a big fan of Rodial as a brand, especially their skincare. I love their Dragon's Blood range - especially the Hyaluronic Moisturiser! However, I have yet to really try any of their make-up range.
The, Rodial Skin Tint +* (£45) is a tinted moisturiser with an added boost of skin-loving ingredients to give medium coverage yet brighten and enhance your natural skin tone. This is definitely a summer essential, or just the base you want to be reaching for when you can't be fussed for a high coverage, high maintenance look. The SPF 20 is an added bonus!
This product is a new and improved version of the original Rodial Skin Tint which I haven't tried but I'm really liking this as a skincare-makeup hybrid. This feels light on my face but I feel confident enough that this gives me the cover I need.
I've been really impressed using this over the summer for days where I'm not doing much but want a dewy, fresh look. I have to apply a few layers of this to get the right amount of coverage which I feel I need for my skin - stippling with a brush over any areas which need more cover. I have the shade 01, so it's too pale for me at the moment and makes me look ashy but I'll definitely be using this through the winter to when my skin suffers with dryness as well as looking quite dull.
I think this product would look even more luminous mixing it with a brightening primer such as, Benefit Cosmetics' 'That Gal'. Love!

Portugal 2015: Terracotta

TERRACOTTA OOTD TERRACOTTA OOTD TERRACOTTA OOTD TERRACOTTA OOTD P1000178
Top: Wear All* | Skirt: Primark | Sandals: Office

My last holiday outfit post, boo! I always feel that my holiday outfit posts come out so much better than my outfit posts here. Why can't we have amazing photo scenery and lighting all year round?
I went for simplicity for my last look as we went out for dinner before heading to the airport so I wanted to still make some effort but be comfortable enough for my trip home.
I love a good bralet, this one is pretty much perfect for any look and it has a thick stretchy feel so fits amazingly. To add some colour, I wore this Primark midi skirt I bought last summer, I love the colour and the slit detailing. Also keeping the make-up as simple as possible, just adding a slick of Lady Danger lipstick. My favourite holiday lipstick for sure!

Portugal 2015: Cool Crochet

COOL CROCHET OOTD COOL CROCHET OOTD COOL CROCHET OOTD COOL CROCHET OOTD COOL CROCHET OOTD COOL CROCHET OOTD
Top: Primark | Shorts: Levi's | Sandals: Public Desire | Bag: H&M

You may recognise this crochet top from one of my previous Portugal posts - yes it is the same Primark beauty but this time in White. I'm literally obsessed with little crochet crop tops, and this Primark one is both cheap and looks amazing. I love the look of mixing crochet and denim, something about it just epitomises summer and gives a boho, holiday feel. These vintage Levi shorts are my most worn shorts, they fit me perfectly and go with everything! If only the UK weather allowed me to wear these as much as I would like.
I also love my turquoise and stone jewellery and always pick up random rings and jewellery from markets on holiday as they always have the best unique pieces. I picked up these rings from Portugal as well as this bracelet. Paired with crisp, short white nails and your look is summer complete.
