Rodial Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Moisturiser

I have added this little addition in to my skincare routine in the last couple of weeks and wanted to review this product as it's something I was skeptical about trying but also so excited at the same time.
I hadn't really thought of Rodial as a skincare brand that I would buy into as I usually prefer the natural, scientific looking skincare brands such as, REN for example. However, I went on a few occasions to different SPACE.NK. stores on trips when I was in London and spoke to the consultants regarding a few skin issues I have recently had. One of them being how dehydrated my skin was currently and even using my trusty Oilatum Natural Face Repair Cream was really not working for me anymore.
A few of the consultants on the different occasions recommended me the, Rodial Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Moisturiser. I felt the product and it just felt too light to even give me a little bit of the moisture in which I needed as I'm so used to using creams which are heavier in formula. And also, 'dragon's blood'?! I just remember thinking, 'what the hell is that?!'
Well, the Dragon's Blood element which has people talking so much about these Rodial skincare products is an active ingredient sourced from the red sap of the, ‘sangre de drago’ tree and is a natural anti-inflammatory which help to sooth stressed and sensitive complexions.
Not only this, the moisturiser contains, 'Hyaluronic Acid' which most people know is a saviour for dehydrated skin as it plumps and locks in moisture. I've also seen really good reviews on this cream so thought it actually would be a good option for me.
I took the plunge and bought this. It is expensive at £49 (although I got this for 30% off as my friend works in SPACE.NK. but I would still pay full price for this) but with skincare I don't mind paying out for something that's going to work. After all, you only get one face. I had nothing to lose, my skin was SO dry and make-up was just clinging to all the dry areas and by the end of the day just looked patchy and cakey.
I have been using this for a few weeks now and I really like it! The texture of the product is very light and doesn't feel greasy or sit on the skin and it smells amazingly fruity and fresh.
I have definitely seen an improvement in the dryness of my skin, it doesn't look half as bad at the moment and my skin feels so soft and plumped. Now I think it's time to invest in either the, Alpha-H Liquid Gold or the, Cane + Austin Retexturising Pads to exfoliate the dead skin cells away even more.
