MAC, 'Lady Danger' Lipstick

So I was clearing out my cameras' memory card when I stumbled across some photos in which I had forgotten I had taken and obviously therefore meant, forgot to blog. These were taken in late August last year just after I came back from Barcelona and had a slight tan (oh how I wish I had this healthy glow right now as I write this looking like Casper the friendly ghost). Anyway!
This MAC Cosmetics lipstick has fast become one of my top five lipsticks of all time. I don't know why it took me so long to purchase this. 'Lady Danger' is described as a, vivid bright Coral-Red; I'd say it's a Red with a strong Orange undertone and that's why I love it in Summer as it looks amazing with glowy, tanned skin. This is also a nice alternative if you're not brave enough to wear a full on Orange lip or fancy something less striking as an Orange lip can be. You don't need to wear too much make-up with this lipstick either, as it brightens up your face and just stands out on it's own. I know this will be my go-to look in the upcoming Spring/Summer months with a flick of liquid liner. This also makes a nice change from MAC, 'Ruby Woo' if you want something a little easier to wear as it's not as matte and drying on the lips!

Sleeveless Blazer

(Sleeveless Blazer: Choies*/Knitted Crop Top: Choies*/Jeans: Topshop/Heels: BooHoo/Clutch: Next/Earrings: Topshop & Asos)

So this outfit includes a few lovely pieces which I was gifted from Choies online store including this amazing White sleeveless blazer and Grey knitted crop top. These two pieces immediately caught my eye and I'm so pleased with how they turned out to be! I always find it tricky ordering online from a website which isn't British as the sizing can be a bit confusing but was pleasantly surprised as to how well these two pieces fit me. I'm loving long-line blazers at the moment and the fact that this White one is sleeveless and has a bit of a different collar made me really drawn to it. I've paired it with some simple ripped jeans and the lovely Grey knitted crop top for a minimal yet 'put-together' outfit. I'm also OBSESSED with ear cuffs at the moment; Topshop have so many ear-cuff and earring sets, I just want them all. I love the look of earrings going up the ear as I don't really like to wear loads of jewellery and this gives something extra to an outfit in general. Plus, ear-cuffs are great for people like me who refuse to get their ears pierced (needle-phobic!)

Benefit Cosmetics, 'Puff Off' Instant Eye Gel

Coming to you with a new beauty add-on to the Benefit Cosmetics line-up. The good thing about working for Benefit is that I am lucky enough to get every new product before it's release, test them out and can then blog about it and tell you my honest thoughts.
Benefit Cosmetics 'Puff Off' Instant Eye Gel, (Yes I know, silly pun but that's Benefit for you!) is their newest release and it's labelled as an instant eye gel to help smooth the look of puffs and lines. The way in which it aims to achieve this is with it's cute little iron shaped tip which applies the product to the delicate eye area. This tip is SO cold when you place it on the under eye and it is amazing for application in the mornings when you want to wake up tired eyes quickly.
Gently, squeeze, (and I mean gently - I first applied this and ended up with the biggest blob under my eye!) and dot the gel under the eye with the applicator, then smooth out until it sinks into the skin. You really do not need a lot at all, so I reckon this little tube will last me quite a while.
The gel itself has a translucent Peachy undertone to correct dark undertones as well as having light-reflective properties to also provide some brightness to the area. A peptide and antioxidant blend are present for aiding towards reducing that puffiness. I really like the texture of this eye gel as it's not too heavy to the point you can feel it sitting under your eye and it does provide you will a teeny bit of coverage due to the peachy shade. In a way, I'd say this product is somewhat in between a skincare and make-up product so it would be great to pair up with another eye-gel and/or concealer for perfect under-eye flawlessness.
I've only been using this a week so cannot say for definite whether it has improved the appearance of my eyes but I am really enjoying using this and it really does refresh my eyes. This eye gel will be priced at, £22.50 which is cheaper than Benefit Cosmetics 'It's Potent' eye-cream and I think is quite reasonable for a decent high-end branded eye solution. The cooling sensation provided by the tip I find also lasts so long afterwards too which is a bonus!
Will you be trying Benefit Cosmetics, 'Puff Off'?

MeMeMe Cosmetics

Happy New Year guys! Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year celebrations. Can't believe it's already 2015. I know it's cliche to say but this year really did zoom by in an instant. I hope this year doesn't leave us as quickly. Starting this year with a beauty post in which I haven't done in ages! I recently got gifted a few lovely products from MeMeMe Cosmetics and I am really pleasantly surprised with them. I've never purchased a MeMeMe item before but have eyed up some things whilst browsing the make-up aisles in Superdrug.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Dew Pots in, 'Coral Blossom'* and 'Tangled Ivy'*
Cream eye-shadows are great for when you're in a rush and don't have the time or effort to be messing around with different brushes and eye-shadow shades. I really love these cream eye-shadow dew pots as they're great for those instances when you are in a rush but also they are amazing for when you want to layer them with powder shadows on top. I have found these to be a great base for when I want to create more dramatic eye looks when I have the time. 'Tangled Ivy' is not like any shade I own so I'm really happy I got to try this shade.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Eye Inspire Catwalk Baked Eyeshadow Quad in, 'Opulent Eyes'*
I don't own any baked eye-shadows so was really intrigued to try this cute little quad. The first thing that drew me in was the lovely warm Autumnal shades of this set. Particularly the Burgundy and Bronze shades as I think they would look amazing on Brown eyes. I love how these colours all complement each other and you basically have a complete eye-shadow look just by using this one palette which is great value for money.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Long Wear Lip Creams in, 'Cherub Blush'* and 'Morello Silk'*
Lipsticks are the one make-up product I feel you can never have enough of. These MeMeMe Lip Creams are surprisingly pigmented and glide on so smoothly which is amazing considering how reasonably priced they are. I love a dark vampy lip shade so I know I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of, 'Morello Silk' over the winter period. 'Cherub Blush' is also a gorgeous nude, however, it does not suit me at all so I will be giving this to a friend who will get a lot more wear out of it than me!

MeMeMe Cosmetics Arch Angel in, 'Dark Brown'*
I love this product. This is definitely a dupe for the Benefit Cosmetics 'Gimme Brow' as the wand is very similar as is the product itself. This brow gel not only sets your brows in place but adds colour to them and fills them in instantly. It's so so simple to do as well, just comb through your brow hairs but press against the skin as you do it to transfer the colour. I really like this as the colour is a really good match for me and this stays on well. The only major difference I found with this and the Benefit Cosmetics 'Gimme Brow' is that the wand is a tad smaller on the Benefit alternative so you can get more precision with it. This MeMeMe Cosmetics product is good if your on a bit more of a budget. You also get a creamy brow bone highlighter on the other end; just dot some of the product along the arch of your brow to get a lovely glow and highlight effect to achieve perfectly sculpted brows.
