Let me just say I am so obsessed with Pink lately, it's all I practically wear. Pink is my favourite colour anyway, so I'm loving that Pink hues are in at the moment as it allows me to embrace the girly girl that I am! I saw this jumper in Topshop so much but could not justify buying it as I thought it was a little overpriced, but when I saw it in the sale in my size, I knew it was fate ha. As I love a collared look, I paired it with this cute dusty Pink blouse from Primark which I have also been loving for layering with fluffy jumpers during the Winter. The loafers are another purchase I recently bought from Primark; I was unsure about these at first because they do look rather, 'granny-esque' but I also loved them at the time time because of the gold embellishment and Pink colour! They were so cheap anyway so I got them and haven't stopped wearing them since, they are so comfy!

Anybody else loving all things pink at the moment?

Back with another MAC Cosmetics Eye-Shadow review and post - this time with the shade, 'Sumptuous Olive'. Along with, Woodwinked Eye-Shadow (review here) I have been craving for this shade for some time after seeing blog posts and tutorials using it. MAC describes it as a, 'khaki with pearl' shade; To me it is definitely Khaki but with a warm toned Bronze/Gold running through it so it looks different in different lighting. I think this colour looks particularly good with Brown or Hazel eyes as it really compliments the colour of them and brings them out more. I like this paired with a Brown eye-shadow to create a smokey eye with a colour twist compared to your standard Black smokey eye. Like all MAC eye-shadows, this one glides on smoothly and is pigmented and long-lasting. I never have a problem with creasing with these shades. I think an eye look using this colour would look amazing with a Peach or baby Pink nude lip in order to keep the main focus on the eyes.

Endless Polka: Outfit & Make-Up

polkadotootd2 polkadot polkadot make-up rubywoo
(Playsuit: Missguided/ Heels: Asos/ Lipstick: MAC Ruby-Woo)

This outfit I wore the other night to a birthday party but didn't have time to take proper blog photos on my Canon so had to make do with a few quick snaps on my iPhone so sorry about the lack of quality! I wore this cute polka-dot playsuit from Missguided and paired it with these absolutely beautiful heeled sandals from ASOS which I picked up from the sale. I've been on the look out for a pair of White heeled sandals for ages and when I saw these I was so happy. What I will say though is that these are probably THE most uncomfortable heels I have ever walked in. I think it's because I'm so used to wearing heels with a platform that these are just so painful for me - hopefully with a few more uses I will become immune to this. I just think they will look amazing in Spring and Summer with pastel coloured outfits.

For my make-up I wanted to go for a look which is my favourite - a vintage eye with a Red lip. Obviously my choice of lipstick was my all time favourite - MAC Ruby-Woo (review post here). For me, nothing will beat this lipstick for a perfect, matte, vintage Red lipstick. For the eyes I followed this PixiWoo tutorial, as I didn't want anything too heavy but wanted something that would define the sockets of my eyes.
