Spring/Summer Pink Make-Up and Looks

SPRING SUMMER PINK MAKEUP
As we are heading towards the hottest months of the year, I tend to change up my make-up up from what I was primarily wearing in the Autumn and Winter. I've said numerous times on this blog that I tend to gravitate towards Pink in general with my make-up as I find that these tones suit me the best, so I love that Pink is definitely, 'in' this year.

Pastel hues of Pink I love for everyday polished looks but I also love a bright pop of Pink which is perfect for Summer and complement tanned skin amazingly.

I love my, Urban Decay Naked3 Palette to create eyeshadow looks with pink hues. There's so many looks you can create from this palette which is why I love it. It's so beautiful, I could just stare at it all day and be content. I also love the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in, 'Pink Gold' for a quick swish of a Pink with gold shimmers running through it. They are so easy to blend out so no need for brushes. On my lips I've been loving Benefit's, 'Lollitint' which is a cheek and lip stain. I definitely prefer this on my lips as you can build the colour and the formula dries instantly and stays put! If I want a little bit more moisture, I will apply, Revlon's Lip-Butter in, 'Strawberry Shortcake' to give my lips a Pinky-Lilac colour.

I love a bright lip in Summer, especially a fluorescent shade like this, Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in, 'Showy'. These matte balms are fricking amazing! I love matte lips generally, and these make me love them even more. They don't dry my lips out and as the product comes in a stick this makes precision application so easy. This shade really reminds me of, MAC's, 'Candy Yum Yum' as they are both Blue-toned Pinks. To keep with the bright pink theme, I love to add a little pop of neon pink to my cheeks with this, YSL Cream Blush in, '5'. Unfortunately this colour is sold out but there are other very similar colours to this still available. The blusher is a mousse like texture so it's very light and glides onto the skin looking very natural. A good cheaper alternative for a cream blusher which I also really like is the Max Factor Miracle Touch Cream Blush in, 'Soft Pink'. I usually wear this bright pink look when I'm short on time as my other make-up can be quite natural and my lipstick can be the main focus.

Anybody else loving Pink in general the moment too?
