Malta 2013 OOTD Three - 'Stained Glass'

(Dress: Primark/Sandals: Primark/Necklace: Can't remember!/Ring: Primark)

Another unintentional Primark outfit. I do love Primark for Summer clothes because I don't really like spending a lot of money on clothes I will only wear for a couple of months a year. I would definitely wear this dress all year round though! The pattern of the dress reminds me of stained glass windows and I like the colours as I don't have anything like this in my wardrobe. Midi skirts and dresses are soooo easy to wear and are perfect for summer as they're comfortable; I've worn this dress a hell of a lot this summer already. For the colder months, I'd swap the sandals for tights, ankle boots and a long cardigan to complete the look. The good thing about this dress is that it hugs you in all the right places to create 'curves' which is good is you want to create that illusion.

Gotta love a bit of Primark.

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

IMG_1880 IMG_1876 IMG_1874 IMG_1882
I love myself a facial exfoliator. There's nothing better than scrubbing away (gently ha) at the dead skin cells on your face to reveal baby soft, bright skin. Your face looks healthier, smoother and generally a lot better. I was asked to review this, Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator and was more than happy to as I love trying out new skincare products to see what works well for me and what doesn't. I've also never tried any Liz Earle products before but have heard such good things so I was definitely excited to try this out. The exfoliator contains naturally active ingredients - like all the Liz Earle range - such as, Eucalyptus, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Beads and Almond Oil to remove dead skin cells whilst moisturising the skin which is really important as using a scrub can sometimes irritate sensitive skin types. This product says it can be used on all skin types except sensitive, so this initially did make me a bit skeptical as to whether this would be okay for me as my skin does have some sensitive tendencies, however, it really did not irritate my skin at all!
I cleansed my skin, then whilst my face was still wet, I applied a small amount of the scrub from the pump onto the tips of my fingers and began to apply the product to my nose area, chin and forehead, using any leftover product on my cheeks as this area doesn't get as congested as my T-Zone.
I really love the smell of the gentle face exfoliator. It has a fresh, clean scent which is slightly menthol like which not everyone will like but I really do as you can tell the product is natural and the ingredients are good for your skin.
Overall I was really impressed with the results of using this exfoliator. My skin felt smooth, looked brighter and my complexion seemed a lot more toned. I will definitely be trying more from Liz Earle in the future.

Malta 2013 OOTD Two - 'Neon Lights'

IMG_1800 IMG_1802 IMG_1803 IMG_1801 IMG_1729
(Top: Primark/Shorts: Brick Lane/Sandals: Matalan/Rings: Primark/Sunglasses: Ebay)

Here's my second outfit post from my holiday in Malta. Can't believe it's already been over a week since I've been back - it's gone so quick and yet it feels like a distant memory since I was lying by that pool soaking up the Maltese sun.
I have been crazily in LOVE with these cami chiffon tops from Topshop. I have this one in Lime Green/Yellow, a neon Coral and a White one which will also be featuring in other outfit posts I have lined up from this trip away. I love the brightly coloured ones as they look so good against skin which has a summer glow and tan. They're also really simple but have a subtly sexy look with the thin straps and low back. It's safe to say I adore all of the ones I have and want to get them in every colour.
I got these Levi's from a random shop on Brick Lane at the amazing price of, £18! I was on the prowl for cream high waisted shorts that I could pair with anything and everything as I wear my blue denim ones so much. I could not find any that fit my waist properly until these babies came along.
Also how cute are the padlocks along the pier in Sliema, Malta?!

Malta 2013 OOTD One - 'Fly Away'

IMG_1707 IMG_1709 IMG_1714 IMG_1722(Dress: Primark/Sandals: Primark/Ring: Primark/Sunglasses: Ebay)

I'm finally back from my holiday! I had such an amazing two holidays in Corfu and Malta over July and August - the time flew by, as it always does when you're enjoying yourself. Over the next few blog posts I have quite a few outfit posts in which I took in Malta (thanks for being my photographer, mum!). Malta is such a beautiful place to visit, I hadn't heard much about it before I went, so I was pleasantly surprised by the country and had such a lovely time that I did not want to come back at all!

Here is the first of my outfit posts from one of my first few nights. I have had this dress from Primark for a while but I don't tend to wear it as often as I would like and should so decided to take it with me. It's such a perfect dress for hot weather as it's flowy and doesn't cling to you uncomfortably. I also love the combination of the butterfly and floral print as well as the colours making it appropriate for both summer and winter. On holiday I don't tend to accessorise all that much as I like to keep my outfits quite simple and make the clothes the centre of attention although I've been loving these sunglasses so much. They practically go with every outfit and I've worn them to death!

Unintentionally, my whole outfit is practically from Primark. The sandals are also from Primark and I adore these as they make my simple summer outfits more dressy. I'll be so upset if these ever fall apart.
