I've been on the hunt for a cream blusher for a while now but did not want to part with a lot of money when purchasing one. Recently, I've heard quite a bit about this Maxfactor Miracle Touch Creamy Blusher and thought I'd give it a try as I really loved the colour of the shade, 'Soft Pink'. I only really tend to go for pink toned blushers as I feel they suit my complexion best. You'll only ever really catch me wearing Peach/Orangey toned blushers if I'm bronzed up after or during a holiday.
I started off applying this by dabbing my Real Techniques Stippling Brush into the blusher directly and then on to my cheeks but found that this didn't really pick up much of the product. Now, I find the best way to use this blusher effectively is to use my fingers to add and blend the blusher on to my cheeks.
The end result I love. It gives me the effect I wanted to achieve with a cream blusher - to give myself a natural summer flush and the Maxfactor Miracle Touch really does that. I've also blotted it on to my lips in the image as well to see if it would work, and it does. It's obviously not the most long lasting blusher, but then again, cream blushers are more likely to slip and disintegrate during the day. A lot of reviews I've read on this blusher have criticised the packaging. Personally, I don't mind it. It's inoffensive and dinky which means you can pop it in and out of your bag when you want. Overall, for £6.99 I think this blush is brilliant.
