Dior Iconic Mascara & Dior Extase Mascara

(Left Eye: Dior Extase Mascara/Right Eye: Dior Iconic Mascara)

I've been meaning to do a review on these two mascaras for sometime now as I received this gift from somebody at Christmas time. I was so excited when I got this gift set as I never really buy Dior products, although, in the past I have used the 'Diorshow' mascara which was probably the best mascara I've EVER used. I wanted to see if these two Dior mascaras live up to the 'Diorshow' mascara for me.
The gift set came with two Dior mascaras, a full sized, Dior Iconic mascara, and a mini Dior Extase Mascara. Dior Iconic, is more of a lengthening and defining mascara, whereas, Dior Extase is used for ultra-volume and thick lashes. So more of a night-time mascara for those who only like thick voluminous lashes for the evenings however, I love voluminous lashes day and night.
On the gift set it says, you can use Dior Iconic first for definition and curl and then following this you can use the Extase mascara as the second step to give your lashes maximized volume. I thought it would be best to show you how each mascaras look when applied on their own to the eyes as you can see which one you prefer.
The formula of both mascaras means that the product almost glides on to your eyelashes. You don't really need to wiggle the brush or keep dipping the wand in to the product to get more out. It feels really comfortable on the lashes and didn't irritate my eyes at all.
Overall, I really LOVED both mascaras as they actually do what they say they are meant to do (unlike some mascaras nowadays). From the pictures of my eyelashes above, you can see that the Dior Iconic mascara provides lashes with a lovely lengthened look whilst still creating an incredible curl and definition. I hate mascaras that don't curl my lashes!
The wand of this mascara has slanted bristles and a little nib on the end which makes it super easy to coat the inner lashes with the product. The wand of the Dior Extase mascara is also rather cool and it creates perfectly black, thick lashes which you can see from my image.
Both mascaras are easy to take off, so no need to tug at your lashes with make-up remover. They are £23.00 each (full size) which I don't think is too bad considering the increasing price of high-street mascaras.
I really do love these two mascaras, I don't want  to finish them!
