Nails of the Day: Model's Own, 'Ibiza Mix'

A few weeks ago I went to, The Clothes Show Live in Birmingham again for the second year in a row. I'd really recommend going as you can pick up some extremely good deals and goodie bags. I got this, Model's Own glitter polish in, 'Ibiza Mix' which is part of the Hed Kandi collection. The Model's Own goodie bag was probably best goodie bag on the day. In the goodie bag, I got to choose two nail polishes of my choice, and inside the goodie bag I also got a Black nail-art pen, two eye-shadows, a lip-liner, a eye-liner, nail-file/buffer and lip-gloss all for £10 which I think is amazing considering each polish costs £5 each!

I picked up this polish as it's one I've seen about a lot and thought it was really pretty. It has a mixture of Blue, Purple and Gold glitter pieces in the polish. It's perfect for applying as a top coat over any other nail-polish. In the pictures above I've applied the nail-polish on top of, Barry M, 'Mint Green'. I thought this would look really cute and go with the pastel vibe of the glitter pieces.

The only thing that really annoys me about this nail-polish is how hard it is to actually get off! I've got some other glitter polishes from Topshop but they are no where near as hard to get off as this one. It takes more time to get off than it should but I guess that's inevitable with wearing glitter polishes.
Overall, I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this polish as it jazzes up my nails with only two coats.

Jeffrey Campbell's: Let The Shoes Do The Talking

About a month ago I was casually browsing the internet (mostly online shopping, as you do) and I came across these beauties on Office. I've loved these shoes for ages and I really prefer the Jeffrey Campbell Foxy's compared to the Lita's. I was shocked to see that these were on sale on the website from £125 to £60! That's £65 off the original price - I knew I wasn't going to get these cheaper anywhere else so I went ahead and bought them. I have to say, these came super quick (around two-three days after I purchased them). When I first opened the box, I was a little scared. The shoes are quite heavy, because of the platforms and the spikes but once I tried them on I was in love. They are sooo cool.
I wore these out for the first time around a week ago and I did get a few looks from people who genuinely looked scared about what these babies could potentially do! Haha. I already have another pair of Jeffrey Campbell Foxy's in Burgundy and I have to say they are so so comfortable, especially on a night out. They only hurt me the first time wearing them because you need to break them in a bit, but once that's out the way, you won't even realise you're wearing heels this high.
(Riding Pants: American Apparel/Skirt: Primark/Jeans: Topshop)

I wanted to show how versatile the shoes are. Here I have paired them with three key pieces I would probably wear them with. The glittery pencil skirt I am loving at the moment, I have been looking for it in Primark for ages and just found it recently! The Riding Pants are also great for a night out, especially in Winter. The heels are perfect for jazzing up a casual outfit with jeans as well. Because the Jeffrey Campbell's are Black, you can pretty much wear them with anything.
