Yesterday, I went to Brick Lane in East London because I heard they have really good vintage shops that aren't ridiculously expensive either. I was a bit skeptical of what it would be like but I wasn't disappointed. There are loads of vintage shops all along the road and some down the side roads connected to it so there's definitely a lot to look at and browse over. I've been to some vintage shops before but none were as good as the ones I went to yesterday. I've never seen so many Levi shorts, and most of them cost around £20 each which is so good compared to other more well-known brands who rework them and sell them, *cough* American Apparel *cough*. There was so much to look at, I really was in heaven. On a Sunday, Brick Lane has a market also so I think that's the best day to visit although all the other shops are open everyday.
I love this Topshop Black studded bag. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to get it, it's one of those bags that aren't really going to date much so it'll get so much use. It's also a really good size, not too small but not overly big so that it practically weighs me down. I also wore my pink heart printed trousers which make a nice change from jeans and leggings and are super comfy and the hearts are velvet. My blouse is an old Primark buy and my loafers are one of my favourite pairs of shoes, can't go wrong with them although they're getting a bit scuffed up now because I've worn them so much. :-(
Does anyone know of any other good vintage shops in London?
